Shirpur- Upcoming Medical Education Hub


Well-known SVKM Trust to build a 750- bed Super-Speciality & Multi-speciality hospital in Shirpur. This state-of-the-art hospital will be built by Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal and will provide extensive healthcare facilities to the residents of Shirpur Tehsil and the adjoining Dhule, Nandurbar, and Jalgaon districts.

Upcoming Medical Education Hub

The Colleges that will be set up in this campus will completely transform the region and sooner it will be known as the new ‘Medical Education Hub’. Also, it will generate employment opportunities as there will be an immediate need of around 1500 to 2000 Doctors, Officers, and Employees.

This modern hospital will be run on the principle of “No Profit, No Loss” and patients from Khandesh and other areas will be able to make the most of its beneficial offerings. Moreover, the treatment and subsequent surgeries for various critical illnesses will also be provided here.

“It’s my dream to see the common man of this great region to get the best healthcare services. The construction work of this project has begun in the vicinity of Shani Mandir, near the Arunavati river at Kharde Budruk Shivar. In the first phase of this planned growth, a 300-bed facility will be set up within 2 years and then it will be developed into an enormous 750-bed hospital. The cost of this project is estimated at INR 300 Crores.”

Along with the hospital, the area will witness setting up of colleges offering a multitude of specialities that will come up in phases and will immensely benefit the students of the entire Shirpur Tehsil and Khandesh region..
