The Vivekananda Sustainability summit and awards is held at a national level, organized to bring a common platform for the isolated efforts that are taking place in India to achieve and implement sustainable development in the country.
The summit and the award ceremony brought all the key stake holders together from government, academia, civil society, multinational corporates etc at large who can influence opinion makers and increase awareness about the environmental crisis, mitigation strategies and roles o various stake holders.
The award function was held at Dr. Ambedkar International Center, New Delhi on 20th April, 2022.
Grape County Eco Resort, Nashik, Maharashtra won the Vivekanada Sustainability Award for inproving Biodiversity in land and life ecosystems, including forests. The sustainability efforts had to be aligned to The United Nations goals.
