Sahyadri Super Speciality Hospital,Nashik today inaugurated a state-of-the-art Intensive Care. The new ICU with 23 beds was inaugurated at the hands of Hon. Mayor of Nashik, Satish Kulkarni in presence of Dr. Ketan Apte Vice – President Sahyadri Hospitals, Sanjay Chawla Unit Head at Sahyadri Hospital Nashik. The new ICU will take the total ICU bed count to 57 with existing 34 beds and addition of 23 ICU beds thus making it one of the largest in North Maharashtra.
Appreciating the efforts of Sahyadri Hospitals during the pandemic and the ongoing vaccination drive, Hon. Mayor of Nashik Satish Kulkarni said that healthcare infrastructure especially in critical care and ICU beds are need of the hour. Any healthcare ungradation before anticipated third wave of covid will definitely be beneficial and helpful for the citizens of Nashik and adjoining towns.
Sanjay Chawla Unit head, Sahyadri Hospital, Nashik said that our hospital has touched lives of close to 2 lakh people in the last 7 years. We would like to thank all our stakeholders and our patients who kept their faith upon us, they are the ones who drives us to do more and more for the society.
The expansion of infrastructure is a testimony to the fact that we stand shoulder to shoulder with the administration in its fight against Covid. Apart from the ICU, we are also increasing the bed capacity close to 250 in Deluxe, Semi as well as Multi-bed category by March 2022.
The function was attended by eminent doctors of the city and other dignitaries.
