The Nashik chapter of Fire and Security Association of India (FSAI), which has been operating for the last 20 years across the country, was launched in graceful function. On this occasion, the newly elected president of Nashik chapter Varun Tiwari and secretary Harshad Bhamre took charge. FSAI National President Ajit Raghavan, Former National President Pankaj Dharkar, Western Regional Director Nimit Seth were present for this induction ceremony.
This organization was started in 2002. At present, the organization functions through 24 chapters across the country. The organization is working in the fields of fire safety, public awareness, training, social responsibility, environment and knowledge development. He mentioned that since this chapter is being start in Nashik, which is developing rapidly, many activities will be implemented in Nashik in the coming time.

At present there are more than 8500 members of the organization across the country. The organization has been working for the last three years to create public awareness about fire safety among school children. He also mentioned that about 4.50 lakh students have been trained under this and the target to increase this number to 10 lakh in the next two years.
Pankaj Dharkar- Former National President
Safe Nashik is the main goal of the organization and it intends to introduce the new technologies coming in this field to the people of Nashik. He proudly mentioned that the biggest tunnel of Mumbai-Nagpur Samruddhi Highway was also done by Nashik team.

Rajesh Shirke acted as the coordinator of this session.
