15,000 Indian students are currently studying
During the Covid-19 pandemic Indian students were stranded in various countries including Georgia, Philippines, China and the Indian government had to evacuate from there as the countries failed to provide safe and secure environment to international students. After coming back to India the students are still worried about the uncertainty over about their future. In comparison over 15,000 Indian students are currently studying in the Russian Federation and the Indian government did not feel the need to evacuate them as the Russian universities took every step towards their safety during these challenging times. Students completed the academic year and have since moved on to the next academic year.
