We Indians are contributing in many ways to conserve our heritage. Few of them do contribute by way of explaining and guiding the tourist about this heritage.
The world-famous Caves Ajanta and Ellora near Aurangabad in the state of Maharashtra are miracles. It took years to complete those caves. But the questions like why the caves were made? who made it? what was the story behind? And many more….! And such questions can be correctly answered by a tourist guide.
A Tourist Guide is not only an Entrepreneur but is a goodwill messenger who explains our history and culture in a studied manner to Domestic and International Travelers. As a tourist guide, Ashok Pujari witnessed a transformation in the overall scenario. THE TRANSFORMATION is in the up-gradation of infrastructure but the curiosity about the heritage remains unchanged. Moreover, as the year passes he has seen there is increase in the curiosity, attraction, and number of visitors.
